Empowering women. Restoring ecosystems.

Building Resilience in The Mekong Delta.

Women4Mangrove transforms Cu Lao Dung Island into a living model of regenerative conservation — where local women lead efforts to heal mangroves, strengthen livelihoods, and preserve culture.

Where Livelihoods and Ecosystems Collide

In the Mekong Delta, the balance between people and nature is at risk. Women4Mangrove restores that connection — empowering local women to turn conservation into opportunity and build resilience for generations to come.

The Challenge

Decades of shrimp farming, illegal logging, and rising sea levels have degraded Vietnam’s largest Sonneratia caseolaris mangrove forest.

The Root Cause

Local families depend on the mangrove for survival, but lack regenerative income alternatives. Conservation cannot succeed where poverty persists.

Our Response

Turn ecological restoration into a viable source of livelihood — especially for women who have the most to lose and the most to give.
